EmpowHERment
EmpowHERment is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women by providing the skills and resources necessary for financial, mental, and emotional self-sufficiency. Founded in 2018 by Ambee Stephens, it began as a virtual platform for women to connect and support each other, evolving into a community center in Clearwater, Florida, by 2020. EmpowHERment offers workshops, events, and entrepreneurship programs aimed at fostering personal and professional growth. Their vision is to create a world where women are empowered, uplifted, and recognized as equal partners in society.

Pace Center For Girls
Pace Center for Girls is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing middle and high school girls with the support, guidance, and resources necessary to thrive. Their programs offer a full academic school day combined with comprehensive mental health support, tailored to meet each girl's unique needs. Whether seeking a fresh start in school or additional social and emotional assistance, Pace provides a safe environment equipped with the tools to help girls succeed both academically and personally. Since its inception in 1985, Pace has served over 40,000 girls across 25 communities in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, offering services at no cost to the girls or their families.

A Kid's Place
A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and nurturing home for children from birth to age 18 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Located on a five-acre campus in Brandon, Florida, the facility features five homes designed to offer a home-like environment where sibling groups can stay together during challenging times. The organization offers a variety of services to meet the social, educational, medical, and psychological needs of each child, with the primary focus on maintaining sibling unity in a stable setting until a more permanent placement can be arranged.

Lighthouse For The Blind
Lighthouse for the Blind & Low Vision is a nonprofit organization based in Tampa, Florida, dedicated to empowering individuals who are blind or visually impaired to achieve greater independence. The organization offers a comprehensive range of services, including independent living skills training, assistive technology instruction, vocational rehabilitation, orientation and mobility training, and low vision evaluations. Programs are tailored for all ages—from early intervention for infants and young children to transition services that prepare teens for college, employment, and independent living. Additionally, Lighthouse provides statewide rehabilitation engineering services to support individuals in maintaining employment through adaptive technologies.

Miss Florida Women in Business Scholarship
The Miss Florida Scholarship Program, established in 1935, is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering young women across Florida by providing scholarships and opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a preliminary to the Miss America competition, it has awarded over $45 million in scholarships, supporting candidates in their pursuit of higher education and community service . In honor of my mentor the late Ellen Meade, Miss Florida 1973—renowned for her unique talent performance and dedication to the arts—we proudly fund the Women in Business Scholarship. This scholarship aims to promote and support aspiring female entrepreneurs and professionals, reflecting Ellen's legacy and our commitment to fostering leadership among women in business.

Metropolitan Ministries
Metropolitan Ministries, our dedicated warehouse neighbor in Tampa, Florida, is a nonprofit organization committed to alleviating suffering, promoting dignity, and instilling self-sufficiency among homeless and at-risk individuals in our community. Through emergency shelter, transitional housing, food assistance, education programs, and job readiness training, they empower individuals to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Serving thousands of families each year, Metropolitan Ministries is known for meeting urgent needs while also addressing root causes of poverty. Their work extends year-round and includes major seasonal outreach efforts.
